If you're not familiar with some of our sports, here's a quick explanation to help you out:

Kiteboarding, or kitesurfing, is a wind powered sport, where the rider uses a large power kite and a board to ride across the water, snow, or land. kiters are able to generate amazing speed, huge jumps, and cover large distances with today's modern kites. WARNING: Kitesurfing can be dangerous or even deadly without proper training. Similar to skydiving or flying a plane, you can't just figure things out as you go. Find yourself a reputable professional instructor to get you started safely.

Wakeboarding and Wake Skating are one of the fastest growing action sports, and with the introduction of electric-powered, cable driven systems (cable parks) throughout the USA, the sport is growing at a record pace. Now, many wakeboarders are switching over to the cable to protect the environment, improve the water quality, and push the limits of what's possible in a more environmentally friendly manner.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is another action sport that's exploded over the past few years where riders use a large surfboard and a paddle to stand up surf. The SUP crowd is also pushing the limits in wave riding, racing, and even river-boarding! ASF is proud to offer training programs that highlight the healthy benefits and the full body workout that SUP offers.

Surfing and Skimboarding are also watersports that ASF is passionate about, and the network of sport participants are eager to share their stoke with others. We're working closely with professional surfers, industry, and our partners to assemble youth and adaptive surfing programs and exhibitons for challenged athletes.
